Labor of Love

A few minutes after the twins were born
A few days before I gave birth

8 am, December 1st, I was expected to have a C-Section.My fiance was planning on going to California for Thanksgiving and wasn't going to be back until the 3rd. I was sorta upset that he wasn't going to be there, but at the same time I was sorta happy. The afternoon of November 21st, 2008. I started feeling contractions. They were at first 45 minutes to an hour apart. They felt different than Braxton-Hicks contractions, but I wasn't overly concerned. Throughout that day, I did what I normally did. I cleaned, went to the grocery store, stopped by school to drop of a paper. By 5pm the contractions were 20 mintues apart and were stronger than before. I started realizing that I was in labor, but they
were still pretty far apart. about 9pm I
got on teh computer and logged into HALO..Healing After Loss. Org....a chat/forum website for helping with the loss of a loved one. I started chatting with Laurie and a few other people.. that night I met Sara!! Within 45 minutes, my contractions were 10 mintues apart. and believe they hurt like a BITCH!!!!!! I couldnt talk, walk, move or breathe! 11:30pm we went to the hositpal...Jason was with me, but was plannine to go to his family's. After several long grewling hours Owen Gilligan Max was born at 2:02 am. he weighed 5 pounds and 7 oz. 13 mintues later Baby girl Isabella Magnolia Marie weighed 6 pounds 4 oz.
